READING AND LISTENING: CVC Words Review with Genially

I would like to introduce Genially games for reviewing CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words which can make learning into an engaging and interactive experience. Genially, with its versatile platform, offers a dynamic way to reinforce CVC word concepts. By incorporating elements of gamification, interactive visuals, and multimedia, these games not only make learning CVC words enjoyable but also support better retention and understanding among learners.

This sample activity is made for first grade students. The objective of this game is to review the CVC words that they learned in the class. Try this game with this link.

It is quite easy to create various engaging activities and you can even add an audio file just like in this one. I added a recorded voice in each word to help the students identify the word that has short A medial sound. You can either use it during a classroom discussion or simply send a link to your student´s parent for them to practice at home.

I hope this simple presentation encouraged you to try Genially. Its user-friendly interface and endless possibilities will definitely transform your class. So here´s a link to a tutorial on how to use Genially.
